Phone Card Balance Low Email

August 24th, 2009

MyNetOne.com prepaid phone card customers will now be sent an email when their phone card balance is less than $5, reminding them to reload. The email is a simple reminder as a courtesy to our prepaid phone card customers so their balance does not run out while they are on a call. In the past, customers have asked us for such an email and we are glad to be able to oblige.

There are two versions of the email: one for PIN-based phone cards and the other for PIN-less phone cards. Each email contains the particular PIN or phone number that needs to be reloaded.

Customers will receive one email for each phone card account that goes below $5. Therefore, customers who use multiple phone cards may receive more than one email.

Here are the two emails:

PIN-Based Account Email

Hello,

The balance on your NetOne PIN-based phone card (PIN: XXXXXXXXXX) is less than $5. Please take a moment to reload your phone card so your balance does not run out while you’re on a call!

For your convenience, we also offer auto reload, which automatically reloads your phone card account when the balance hits an amount you specify. You also specify the amount you wish to reload each time. You will receive a 10% bonus if you setup auto reload for $50 or more.

You can access your account anytime online to change your account information, reload your phone card, or setup auto reload.

Local Access Numbers

June 16th, 2009

NetOne now has local access numbers for our customers. In addition to being easier to remember, local access numbers cost customers less than toll free numbers in two ways. First, because local access numbers cost us less, we are able to pass the savings on to our customers in the form of lower calling rates. We have recently lowered our rates in anticipation of our customers using local access numbers. Second, calling with toll free numbers costs 0.5 (half) cent more per minute than with local access numbers.

Please visit our access numbers page to find your local access number. There are two ways to find your local access number:

  1. Search by phone number: select the type of phone card you will use, enter your phone number, and click Search
  2. Search by state: select the type of phone card you will use, select your state, and click Search

If you have any questions or need help finding your local access number, please contact us.
